The trail
Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Hardangervidda on the Packraft Trail. This unique route stretches for around 70 kilometers and combines hiking and paddling in a spectacular landscape. Start your trip with a hike before diving into the crystal-clear lakes and exciting whitewater sections.

On this tour, you will not only be fascinated by the untouched nature and the diverse flora and fauna, but also discover the joy of self-sufficiency. Overnight stays under the open sky allow you to choose a new sleeping spot every day and enjoy the silence of the wilderness while you light your own campfire and prepare your meals.

A vehicle is recommended to ensure transportation back to the starting point after the adventure. The Hardangervidda Packraft Trail offers the perfect opportunity to indulge your thirst for adventure and experience the joy of self-sufficiency in one of Norway’s most impressive regions.

The requirement

A good self-assessment is an advantage if you want to enjoy participating in the Packraft Trail Hardangervidda. Have you already spent the night in the great outdoors and do you feel comfortable on level II white water? Are you used to having your packraft equipment with you on longer hikes and do you like to look after yourself in the great outdoors? If you are at least 16 years old, accompanied by a supervisor and have already gained experience with re-entry into running waters, we look forward to experiencing this adventure in the breathtaking nature of Norway with you!
