For over 25 years we have run THE snowboard school in Oberstorf. Since 2020, however, we have been breaking new ground and want to provide our guests with a much more intensive and individual mountain and nature experience.

From an early age in the mountains that ignited the fire in me. That fire that we call soul and that draws you more and more to yourself, far away from normality and demands. Out of Bounds emerged from a small Allgäu outdoorsman who broke free from the conventions of this world through surfing in the snow and has now established himself with alpine expertise and as an established institution in snowboarding and wilderness schools.

The Wilderness School is my latest creation: The game of nature experience and pedagogy is particularly well received by school classes.
OutofBounds looks forward to showing you your world. And it starts with OutofBounds in the shop, getting to know our guides, experiencing things together and ends with hidden events as well as in the absolute peace and beauty of our wild nature.

SPLITBOARDING

Enjoy the natural experience on the mountain, plow through untouched deep snow slopes with buttery powder turns, always be on the lookout for the next cornice or small bump – that’s what makes backcountry snowboarding an adventure.

With the return to the roots of snowboarding comes the call for freedom and independence from ski lifts and crowded ski areas with après ski and mass check-in. The splitboard – a snowboard that can be split lengthwise and converted into two “touring skis” for the ascent – opens up completely new areas away from the rugged slopes in the ski area and complements the incredible “surfing feeling” in deep snow with the uplifting feeling of climbing the mountain to have developed it yourself.
