Enjoying the natural experience on the mountain, plowing through untouched deep snow slopes with buttery powder turns, always looking for the next cornice or small bump – that’s what makes backcountry snowboarding an adventure.

With the return to the roots of snowboarding comes the call for freedom and independence from ski lifts and crowded ski areas with après ski and mass check-in. The splitboard – a snowboard that can be split lengthwise and converted into two “touring skis” for the ascent – opens up completely new areas away from the rugged slopes in the ski area and complements the incredible “surfing feeling” in deep snow with the uplifting feeling of climbing the mountain to have developed it yourself.
