Enjoy the freedom.

The splitboard – a snowboard that can be split lengthwise and converted into two “touring skis” for the ascent – opens up completely new territories away from rutted slopes in the ski area and complements the incredible “surf feeling” in deep snow with the uplifting feeling of having worked your way up the mountain yourself.

This course is for those who want to give it a try.
We will teach you the first basic skills… from assembly to pointing.

Around Oberstdorf there are many easy tours that are perfect for the start e.g. Rangiswangerhorn in the Hörnergruppe.

Condition for approx. 2 – 3 hours ascent
Procedure

Meeting point: 8:00 a.m. Out of Bounds base Schweineberg
Material output
Afterwards we drive to the starting point.
Instruction in the conversion of the splitboards
Instruction in the safety equipment
Ascent and descent in the backcountry
Return journey approx. 15.00
Equipment

– Splitboard incl. Sticks is inclusive
– LVS equipment ( safety equipment ) is included
– good snowboard clothing
– Helmet ( not compulsory )
– Functional underwear
– 2 pair of gloves
